Although missed from earlier this month, July sees the passing of the 4th Anniversary of the start of the blog, and as previously noted whilst not all the topics covered may be the liveliest of issues, I do hope you feed to blog interesting and I hope it gives an over view of some of the issues that local councillor’s work through.
As previously if you have a topic or issue that you would like to see me cover please let me know.
Again just in case it's not always 100% clear, all views expressed on the blog, are only the views of myself and should not unless expressly stated be considered the views of any of the bodies I am involved with.
As noted previously the rest of my website is currently undergoing an update to hopefully improve both the content and the look, and as part of that the blog has undergone a revamp, I hope you like the new look, but again would welcome any comments or suggestions if you think anything is missing.
Lastly on the advertiser, several people have been in touch asking when the blog will be returning to pages of the Glossop Advertiser, on this I don’t know the answer to the question at the moment, but I hope it’s something that can be sorted out soon.

Happy birthday. I should do a post of my own in praise of your blog and its sheer unrelenting consistency. Most of the stories have little direct relevance to me of course, but it's great to see a local blog keep on doing what it's good at.
How many posts have you written over 4 years. I reckon it must be about 10 a week, 50 odd weeks a year, so 2000?
