Last chance to have you say ..

Consultation on the draft High Peak Tree Strategy comes to a close this
Sunday (31st August). The strategy which aims to promote the care and
maintenance of trees with the High Peak and can be viewed on line at on the
council's website at the following :

Comments can then be feed back to the council Arboricultural Officer, Monica
Gillespie on 0845 129 7777 extension 2206 or by using the online response
form at :

Also finishing this week at 12 noon on Friday (29th August) is the
consultation around BT proposals to close 37 phone boxes across the High
Peak.

Several in the Glossopdale area have been placed up for consideration, but
following earlier consultation are been recommended by the council to be
retained, the only ones in this area still under consideration for removal
are the boxes on Marple Road in Chisworth and one in Roward.
