has announced there will be no changes for the majority (99.2%) of post
offices users within the Greater Manchester and High Peak Area despite 67 out
of a current total of 380 post offices across the area been scheduled for
closure.
Within the High Peak the Post Offices at Tintwistle, Birch vale, Dove holes,
Chapel (town end), Peak forest are proposed for closure, with no changes
planned for the rest.
A consultation program will take place starting today and ending on
21/7/2008, with any views on the Post Offices scheduled for closure needing
to be sent to :
