Gamesley Councillors Anthony Mckeown and Dave Wilcox
along with Hadfield South Councillor’s Bob Mckeown and Edward Siddall are
inviting Gamesley residents to join them for their latest councillor’s surgery,
which is taking place this Saturday morning (13th August).
Whilst many folk may be off on their summer holidays the
Gamesley Councillors are available all year round and are looking for any
complaints, grumbles or perhaps even compliments on council services that
locals may have, they are particularly interested in views from parents and
teenagers affected by the recent cuts to concessionary fares which came into
effect on the 1st August, and the details for works taking place on
the ‘electric’ side of the estate are still available for viewing.
Councillor Anthony Mckeown said “Whilst the summer
holidays may be a great time for a break, locals may still have issues they
want to raise with us, or comments around recent events such as the Gamesley
CESP consultation or the recent consultation around proposals for the former
Samas Roneo site”
The surgery will run from 9.00am until 11.00am and locals
are welcome to call in for a brew, even if they don’t have a particular issue
or grumble to raise with the councillors, it takes place in the Gamesley
Resident’s Association Office on Winster Mews on Gamesley.
Councillor Mckeown added "Councillor's aren't just
available at surgeries and If you are can't attend our surgery, we still
want to hear from you and there's a variety of other way you can get in touch
and let us know your concerns. You can see the ways to get in touch by going to
my website at www.anthonymckeown.info/getintouch
for further information"
