It was great to see so many people in the centre of Glossop on Friday for the freedom march of the 2nd Battalion of the Mercian Regiment.
It was also great to see a number of local school's take part in lining the route of the march past, with St Margaret's even walking down from the school into Glossop.
Following the march, there was an informal reception in Glossop's Bradbury House, which included a speech from the Mayor of High Peak Cllr Peter Kay, along with a number of medals being presented.
