the Gamesley Residents Association Committee which as well as the usual
regular reports also considered looking at running an event this summer
similar to the 40th anniversary event that took place last year. The meeting
also considered the next edition of the Gamesley News and planned ahead for
a forthcoming meeting with the chief executive of High Peak Community
Housing Sharon McCambridge.
The meeting also considered reports over a petition that is apparently doing
the rounds on the estate over proposals been put forward by Gamesley School
to change the way the school uses the school field, which will prevent the
successful Gamesley Villa Football Team for using the field, no definite
plans were available during the meeting but I'm sure it something that will
be flagged up again in the near future.
