Constituency meeting

Last Friday evening saw the month's constituency Labour Party Meeting, which
met for the first time in a while in the Glossop Labour Club which is
currently undergoing refurbishment.

A good packed meeting with discussions on the future of bypass following the
recent North West Decision, and a private member bill coming before
parliament over fuel poverty along with reports from local councillor's and
Tom Levitt MP, during which a number of concerns were raised with regards to
the examples of continued poor performance of the council's bin and
recycling collections despite the recently flagged up action plans that is
supposed to be place to tackle these issues.

The meeting also coincided with a do to say a found farewell and thanks for
all your work to Ellie Wilcox, who until recently has been working for Tom
Levitt MP, but is now taking up a post with the East Midlands Labour Party
in Nottingham.
