Last Saturday (31st January) saw the first team draw 3 all away to Linotype/Cheadle HN, however unfortunately the reserves who were playing the reserve side of the first team opposition didn’t have the same luck losing 2 – 1.
This coming week sees a Wednesday evening mid week game for the first team away to the reserve side of Curzon Ashton, with this coming Saturday (7th February) sees a rematch of the mid week fixture with Curzon Ashton Reserves scheduled to play at Gamesley, with the reserves away to Golborne Sports Reserves.
There’s also cup action this coming Saturday for the Gamesley Villa under 11’ side who have a 2nd round Challenge Cup game against Dukinfield Tigers, a side which in the two meetings so far this season Gamesley have put 10 goals past them, winning the previous league ties 3 -1 and 7 – 1.
