Next Wednesday (4th February) sees an extra meeting of the Environment
Select Committee, to consider reports on the partnership the council is
trying to establish with the police to enable PCSO's to be able to issues
fines for some 'environmental' crimes such as dog fouling, along with a
report on the performance of Veolia who run the waste and recycling
collections, which has been a cause of concern in some areas, particularly
with the recycling collections (green boxes) which following a complaint put
in by the other Cllr Mckeown last week, will hopefully be improved the next
time they are done.
