Coming up - Greater Manchester Congestion Charge Sub Committee

This Thursday sees what I expect will be the final meeting of the sub
committee which has been looking into the Greater Manchester
Congestion Charge Proposals.

I say last because as I suspect most people will be aware the
proposals were overwhelmingly rejected by the people of Greater
Manchester and future plans around the proposals have not yet been
released.

However although the plans have been rejected the issues considered by the
sub group still need to be considered and hopefully sent elsewhere for
further consideration on how the issues raised can be considered and where
appropriate implemented through the various bodies working on public
transport within the High Peak.
