World Arthritis Day - Sunday 12th October
On World Arthritis Day, people with arthritis from around the world join
together to make their voices heard to raise awareness of arthritis. For
further details go to http://www.worldarthritisday.org/
Also taking place this week is customer services week which is seeing a
number of activities taking place involving the customer's services staff at
the council, including the chief executive of the council spending some time
working in the call centre answering calls.
Next week (13th to 19th October) sees local democracy week, some of the
activities taking place will include school visits and a question time with
the Mayor at the council office's in Chinley.
