A trip to Glossop's Windy Harbour on Friday for a fundraising buffet dinner with Secretary of State for Health Alan Johnson.
The dinner had followed a number of events elsewhere in the High Peak where the Secretary of state had met with health professional's and locals across the area.
Mr Johnson gave an interesting speech covering issues around the 60th Anniversary of the NHS, improvements to mental health services along with various anecdotes from parliament and campaigning issues for the future.
