Although flagged up last week this coming Thursday (25th September) will see a meeting of the Audit and Regulatory Committee taking place at the council offices in Chinley.
In addition to the items flagged up previously there will now be an extra report looking at changing the polling station at Charlesworth for a potential parish election that may need to take place.
The reason for this outlined in the report is due to the normal polling station been the Charlesworth Primary School, which would have to close for the day to allow the election to take place.
To prevent this, an alterative site in St John’s Church is been suggested, with comments from the local ward councillor been reported to the meeting.
