Following the annual council meeting / first executive meeting of the new
council year, I have now been appointed as one of the five council nominees
to the board of High Peak Community Housing (taking over from Jacqui
Wilkinson), and last Wednesday evening saw the occasion of my first board
meeting.
Clocking in at just over three and half hours myself and the two other new
council appointees (Cllr's Chris Webster and Linda Baldry) were assured the
meeting's weren't normally quite as long, but in my own view with a packed
agenda that included a high level performance summary, year end performance
review and financial reports, along with a report on the recent petition by
the GRA along with several updates and a number of confidential items we
didn't do too bad.
