Friday evening saw a trip to New Mills for this months meeting of the High Peak Labour Party, amongst the items on the agenda for discussion were the recent by-election in Crewe and Nantwich and the current stage of the policy forum process.
A good discussion on the by-election with local members picking up many of the concerns that have been flagged up by the pundits on TV and in the papers, but with feedback from local members and local canvassing not matching up with the generally depressing picture that is flagged up in the news.
