Mixed news this week for Gamesley first team with a 2 - 1 win on Wednesday against Woodley FC with goals from Bryan Capper and Mike Dewhust, followed by a 2 -1 defeat at home on Saturday against Barnton with Mike Dewhurst scoring the one goal for the home side in the 75th minute.
Similar bad new for the reserves with there first league match of the season ending in a 3 – 1 defeat against Pilkington Reserves.
