Last Friday night saw a meeting of the High Peak Labour Party, this month at the Old Hall Hotel in Buxton. As usual a wide range of issues up for discussion including an interesting discussion on the deputy leadership election, with the result causing a little surprise to some in the room given that at our previous meeting the constituency has agreed to nominate Hilary Benn.
The meeting also received the results of the reselection process for Tom Levitt MP, with all those voting agreeing to an automatic reselection for Tom.
