Mixed news for the Centurion with regards to there planning applications for a canopy and amenity area outside the pub.
Under delegated powers to officers, the amenity area including a shelter and decking area has been refused planning permission, but the canopy over the footpath at the side entrance has been approved.
The decision has been made by planning officers partly on the basis that anti social behaviour would increase existing problems (relating to the park) in the area.
