Wednesday afternoon, saw the second of the ‘Estate Walkabouts’ covering the middle section of the estate (Ashford, Monyash, Youlgreave, Bakewell, Tissington, Wardlow, Totley, Langsett, Hurdlow, Sheldon, Combs, Longnor, Hollins, Brassington.)
Along with Lara Ford from the housing office, one of the estate caretakers, and a small group of local residents, we spent approximately two hours covering the patch, looking at a whole range of ‘environmental issues’ from ground’s maintenance to quality of footpath’s, gardens and most other things in between.
A list is at current been drawn up to tackle the issues ‘observed’ and to look at how they can be resolved, more details on this once this is available.
