I've just spotted on Recess Monkey reference to the return of Dame Shirley Porter, who is famous for carrying out a number of misdemeanors and various other dubious dealings during her time leading the conservatives on Westminster Council, that lead to her been surcharged (fined) £42 million pounds.
However the more important bit of info in the entry was reference to the forthcoming book by Cllr Paul Dimoldenberg who as leader of the Labour Group on Westminster Council was at the forefront with the Labour Group on highlighting her actions, and then when she claimed to be penniless (despite been heiress to the Tesco's fortune) led the fight to get at least some of the money back.
All of this was despite great efforts by Westminster Council to see Cllr Paul Dimoldenberg dragged down and hopefully off the council by reporting him to the standards board.
This however lead to large legal bills which RecessMonkey indicates the proceeds of the book will go to clear, so if you are interested in the full story of the 'home for votes' scandal of Westminster Council click here and buy the book.
