Last night saw a meeting of the North Area Tenants Panel, which is essentially a meeting between tenants and representatives of the ALMO (High Peak Community Housing), along with local councillors.
From last nights meetings there is not a lot to report, just a few items of note, including a new ‘young’ person in attendance from Hadfield !
In addition, entries are still been accepted for the Gardening Competition and for the 7th June Tenants Conference in Buxton, with transport been available for the tenant’s conference if needed.
Also, help was requested to get the message out, that the concessionary gardening scheme, run by the ‘company’ for residents in bungalow’s and the like is still running, and has not been stopped.
This is in spite of what some residents have been misled into believing by criminals that have been praying on some elderly residents across the High Peak and that any residents who uses the service and is contacted by anyone saying it has stopped should contact the police or the HPCH to report the situation.
