Monday saw a meeting of the development plan select, which reviewed for the final time reports on the Glossop and Old Glossop Conservation Area Appraisals, along with a starting report on landscape character throughout the High Peak.
Tuesday was the months meeting of the Council’s executive, which included reports on the budget, parish grants, toilets, a local issue to Gamesley for which I can’t mention fully yet, but for which details will become clearer in forthcoming weeks.
Wednesday evening contained this months Glossopdale Labour Party Branch Meeting. This months included an interesting discussion on health, and it been the AGM also saw a change to the Chair of the branch with the new one been Gwyneth Francis.
Thursday and the end of the week meetings wise, saw this months meeting of the High Peak Labour Party’s executive committee.
Saturday was this month’s Councillors surgery, which was quite busy, with a number of issues been raised from health to housing and quite a few things in-between. There was also a photo-call with the local paper over the current campaign over keeping Glossop within its current Primary Care Trust.
