Tonight has seen a meeting of the council's executive amongst the items up for consideration were two items that had been scrutinised by the corporate select committee around the council's finances and performance framework, followed by two items discussed by the community select meeting last night one confidential around CCTV the other not around the members initiative fund and community engagement.
Last up was another confidential report looking at the transactional services review that will play a significant part in helping the council to meet the financial savings that it needs to meet the cuts in funding. This item will now be reviewed by the corporate select committee early in December, followed by further consultation with staff and unions.
