239 Service

Following on from a number of calls towards the end of last week and on Saturday, I contacted Speedwell to find out what was happening with the 239 Service, which whilst been withdrawn from the end of Saturday 11th June should still be running at current.

They have advised that due to arrangement made by themselves they have had a shortage of vehicles and that they have had to lease in vehicles at short notice.


They have advised that they are trying to cover as much mileage as possible and they will attempt to provide service wherever possible on the 239, but that further disruption cannot be ruled out and there may well be further missing journeys during this last week of the service running.
