Councillor's surgery - gardens and Winster Mews Recycling

Last Saturday morning saw this month's councillor's surgery down at the GRA
Office on Winster Mews.

The month we also had Tom Levitt MP in attendance which no doubt helped bump
up the attendance by a few more.

One particular theme that was raised by a number of callers was with regards
to untidy gardens, which are causing discomfort and annoyance to neighbours
who have taken the time to do there's.

To prevent this issue from arising please where you can, take care of
keeping your garden tidy, remember if you lack tools to do it, for High Peak
Community Housing Tenants there is a tool hire scheme available, contact the
HPCH Office on Winster Mews for more details.

Another issues raised was with regards to the recycling site that is in
place on the Winster Mews Car Park, and the number of people who are just
dumping any items there are bringing for recycling rather than putting them
in the 'bins', please if you can make sure any materials for recycling are
put in the 'collectors' provided rather than been dumped at the side and
making the are look untidy.

If it was a case that materials where been dumped due to bins been full we
could get that fixed but at the moment most of the materials been dumped as
the site of the bins has never been tried to be put in.
