during which a number of events are taking place organised by the Potato
Council to highlight the eating of Chip's.
Locally on Monday the Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service held a series of
demonstrations in Glossop over the dangers of chip pans which have caused
just under 5000 injures during 2006.
The theme for this years national chip week is around finding the perfect
portion and in some local chippies you may be able to take part in a free
scratch and win prize draw that is been organised by the Potato Council.
