Gaza Protest

On Friday evening over 30 people gathered at Norfolk Square in Glossop
to take part in a candlelit vigil to protest against the ongoing
attacks by Israel against the people of Gaza.

The vigil was organized by the High Peak Stop the War group and was
attended by people from a number of local groups including several
local churches and Amnesty International.

A further protest is planned for this coming Friday (16th January)
along with a public meeting this Thursday (15th January) evening in
the Glossop Labour Club starting at 8.30pm.
