Planning Applications - Cottage Lane / Wild and Hallam

A further planning application has been submitted to amend the plans already
approved for the building of four houses on the land between houses on
Cottage Lane and the estate near the doctor's surgery.

As far as I can see the new plans don't change the existing approved
proposals that much, but I am concerned that this 'new' application will
essentially reset the clock and give (if approved) a further period of time
for the developers to start building on the site. Particularly as one of the
conditions agreed by the planning committee when it was approved in February
2008 was that development was to have started by the 18th June 2008.

Further details including copies of the plans are available in the planning
section of the Borough Council website under ref no : HPK/2008/0660

Also flagged up under planning applications received is an application for
the erection of a food store and associated car parking etc, at the former
Wild and Hallam site at Brookfields that was the subject of a public
consultation by Lidl earlier this year.

The plans for the application are not available as of yet on the planning
section of the website, but once available will appear under application :
HPK/2008/0673.
