HPCH AGM / Board Meeting

Last Wednesday saw the annual general meeting of High Peak Community Housing
along with the normal board meeting, as I expected the current chair Agnes
Bradley was re-elected as chair, but there was no decision on electing a
vice chair with a decision been deferred until the next meeting in January.

It was the first time I had attended the companies AGM and it was a almost
festive occasion with a number of other borough councillors, officers
including the council's joint chief executive Simon Baker and residents in
attendance for the AGM part of the meeting.

Once that had been dealt with a normal board meeting took place with a range
of issues under consideration, including a number of confidential items as
well as some regular updates. A short break now for the board (at least in
terms of the formal board meetings) with the next one taking place in
January and hopefully a little shorter than this month's meeting that
clocked in just short of 4 hours.
