Advertiser towards the end of last week may well have spotted or heard the
news item reporting that the traffic commissioner had revoked the Borough
Council's licence to operate vehicles such as the bin trucks.
Initial comments from the council indicate that the situation has arisen
more due to cock-up rather than anything else but with coverage in the Motor
Transport highlighting the council's failure to turn up at the inquiry by
the traffic commissioners into the issue, the question must be asked is this
the type of coverage our 'excellent' council wants ?
