summer items up for discussion includes reports on capital expenditure sub
group, annual report on treasury management and prudential indicators along
with updates on the strategic alliance, and financial out turn.
The agenda also includes a report on approving the designated places order
for Gamesley and Glossop, which will if approved by the executive then go
out for public consultation prior to going to a full Council meeting for
final adoption, along with reports on character appraisals for conservation
areas in Whaley Bridge, Chapel en le frith and New Mills.
On Wednesday as well as the Greater Manchester Congestion Charging Sub
Committee flagged up last week there is also a meeting of the JCC (joint
consultative committee - with council staff) and a meeting of the High Peak
Community Housing Board.
This is followed on Thursday by a consultation meeting over the Rent Service
review on the rental market area. Friday sees the last of the monthly Labour
Party meetings until September, finished on Saturday with Tom Levitt's last
surgery at Tesco's until after the summer.
