Since last week, both myself and the other Cllr Mckeown have received a number of calls, comments and complaints about the recent grass cutting or rather lack of grass cutting done on the other side of ring road around the estate.
After checking with the parks section, the edge of the ring road / around the lamp posts is mowed by a small ride on mower, where as the rest of the ring road is done by a tractor mower.
Usually the two sets of mowing are scheduled to be done at the same time, however due to some of the recent weather the ground was a bit too soft for the tractor mower and on this occasion this wasn’t possible, however officers for the parks section advice that the rest of the cutting should be started on Wednesday.
