St Margaret's Governor's

Last Wednesday evening saw a meeting of the full Governors at St Margaret's School, amongst the items for discussion were the budget (which looks reasonable good this year), issues around the state of repair for the fence between the school and the railway and the possible dangers to children this may mean along with the main topic of discussion which was around the recruitment process for a new head following Simon's recent departure.

Unfortunately despite the advertising process for the vacancy, at this time we've yet to find a suitable candidate to carry on the good work and high standards been achieved during Simon time.

So for the time been the school will be in the good hands of acting head Ben Steane who has been a member of the management team during Simon's headship and is well placed to take the school through any challenges and opportunities that will come up until the issue of the head teacher is looked at again.
