Next Monday (14th April) will see a meeting of the social inclusion select committee amongst the items for consideration will be a report back from a sub group of members who have been working with officers and others to analysis and review the current arrangements and performance on anti social behaviour.
To that end a report has been produced by the sub committee which will be discussed at next weeks meeting covering a wide range of information on the current hot spots along with a variety of facts and figures on current hotspots along with an action plan.
Amongst the items listed within the action plan there are suggestion for improving communications, strengthening the role of councillors and improving joint working, included measures like councillors to partner with safer neighbourhood teams to witness anti social behaviour, and extending the role of police community support officers to be able to give fixed penalty notices out for issues such as litter and dog fouling.
