The event which was timed to take place during the "Managing Your Weight"
campaign (which runs from Monday 14th to Monday 28th January) featured
stalls from a range of organisations including High Peak Community Housing,
Adult Education, Rosemary Conley Diet Advice, Glossopdale Young Womens
Group, Young people's Sexual Health Advice, Police, and CAMHS (Child and
Adolescent Mental Health Service).
An interesting event with a number of demonstrations from yoga to morris
dancing, two points of interest one from the community dental service with
regards to checking your tooth paste to ensure that the one you use has
enough fluoride in, the other from with regards to the services offered by
the PCT / Derbyshire Youth Service on young people's sexual health advice
which despite there efforts are not available in all of the area's secondary
schools.
