Last Thursday evening saw a meeting of the High Peak Borough Council Labour Group.
As well as the usual updates and reports on current issues been considered by the various select and other committee's on the council, items on the agenda for next weeks council meeting were also discussed.
In particular concerns were raised (more details shortly) with regards to the proposal at the next council meeting with regards to the replacement of the council's chief executive.
In addition the group also decided that as in a number of past years we wouldn't be sending Christmas cards to each other / other councillors instead we would look to make arrangements for a donation from us all to Charity.
