Speedwell advise that due to increasing costs bus fares will rise with effect from Sunday 21st October.
The adult fares for a number of destinations will now be as follows :
Glossop-Gamesley: £1.60
Gamesley-Hyde: £2.65
Gamesley-Tameside Hospital: £2.90
Gamesley-Ashton: £2.90
Gamesley-Stepping Hill: £3.35
Speedwell’s day ticket valid on all Speedwell services will be £3.60, with the weekly ticket going up to £12.00 a week.

As an alternative the system one range of tickets (full details available at www.systemonetravelcards.co.uk) which are valid (for adults) on almost all bus services across Glossopdale and Greater Manchester are available as a dayticket buyable on the bus at £3.70 off peak (after 9.30am and all day Saturday’s / Sunday’s) and £4.00 peak, and weekly (photo card required) at £15.00.
The system one bus saver 7 weekly ticket (once you have your photo card) can be purchased from anywhere with the Pay Point logo such as Morgan's or Londis.
