School governors

Being a School governor at St Margaret's was the theme of the week last week with a meeting of the buildings and safety committee on Tuesday night and a meeting of the full governors on Wednesday.

Further good news was reported following the recent OFSTED inspection with a strong performance in the SAT's and a very good report back from the Church 'OFSTED' inspectors.

Further concerns were raised with regards to the fence that separates the school from the railway, with Network Rail seeming to be reluctant to do the necessary work to bring it up to scratch despite various letters been sent by the school to both Network Rail and a number of other bodies of hopeful influence.
