I’ve been contacted by a local resident with regards to concerns over the ambulance service running from Glossop Ambulance station, which I am advised has been closed at some points due to been short of staff.
From what I’ve been told this means that when an ambulance is called, instead of it coming locally, it is been sent to us from Ashton / Dukenfield, and in some cases is taking 20 minutes plus to arrive
I’m investigating this issue at current and the reason for raising it on the blog, is that I would be grateful if anyone has further details or knowledge of similar problems if they could let me know.
