Thursday evening before the Glossopdale Area Forum, a short meeting took place to give Glossopdale Councillors, an opportunity to have their say on a report going to the Council’s executive member for regenerations with regards to the revised draft orders for the bypass.
Although few in numbers, we briefly had our say, which was essentially no change from the last time this issue was considered which was to continue the council’s current stance in favour of the council supporting the building of the bypass, with where possible more proactive support coming from the council toward the aim of getting it built, along with requests for further work on the route restraint measurers for the existing A628 / A57 and surrounding roads.
