Eyam Lane Bus Stop

EyamLane Bus Stop
Originally uploaded by AnthonyMck.

Towards the end of last week, vandals have damaged the bus stop at the end of Eyam Lane, by throwing bricks through the reinforced plastic windows, of the stop leaving the shelter damaged.

Once again a small minority of individuals have caused damage to a local facility, causing unnecessary work for both the Council and HPCH staff in getting the area cleaned up and the bus shelter back in full use, not to say the unnecessary inconvenience to local residents who will have to suffer whatever the weather now throws at them whilst waiting for the bus.

Whoever the individuals are that have done this damage, they are a potential future danger to the public, because whilst it has been a bus stop now, could be a car or bus next ?

If you know who these individuals are please let the Police know, and hope fully they can be stopped before doing more damage.

The Police can be contacted via the Gamesley Housing Office, or by phone on 0845 123 3333 or if you wish to remain anonymous you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
