Thanks to the intervention of GMPTE, and Derbyshire County Council, the planned cut which would have seen the 394 terminating at Hawk Green on the 2nd April will no longer happen and the bus will now continue to run to Stepping Hill Hospital and Hazel Grove on it’s existing timetable.
Additionally from the end of the month (either 26th March or 2nd April), the 239 and 341 services will no longer run round Simmondley meaning a slightly shorter journey to Ashton and Hyde. Simmondley will instead be served by a new hourly Glossop / Simmondley circular.
