A number of local residents have recently contacted me with regards to leaflet displayed above. Whilst I’m not quite sure the wording is entirely appropriate, it clearly show that the ALMO is serious about taking action to tackle rent arrears.
My only concern is that whilst I can agree with the sentiment behind the leaflet and the need to keep on top of rent arrears, the message / tone of the leaflet, could cause residents who may already be having a difficult time, unnecessary worry, when just the contact details on available support and advance warning to all partners about the leaflet going out may have been of better use.
