Good news for Gamesley’s first team on Saturday who beat current Derbyshire Cup Holders Parkhouse 4 – 2 in the quarter finals. This now has the potential to set up a cracking semi final against longtime Derbyshire Cup rivals Dove Holes, who have also made it through to the semi-finals.
No game for the reserves last week, but hopefully next Saturday will see them take on Poynton Reserves in the Reserve League Cup match that has been postponed a few times to date, with the first team at home to Daten who are currently the bottom team in the league.
