Saturday saw the first game of the new season for Gamesley FC, who are now in the first devision of the Mid Cheshire League following their promotion after winning the league last season.
The team started off the season as I hope they will go on, with a 3 - 0 win against Garswood United, who only a few weeks ago scooped the leagues Memorial Cup.
The next game is on Tuesday nights away to Woodley FC.
