Devil Worship ?

Or just ‘vandalism’ is a question that is current crossing the minds of local residents that attend the Immaculate Conception Church on the border of Charlesworth / Broadbottom.

The reason for the question is because of a recent attack on a statue in the grounds of the Church, which has seen the ‘hands’ broken off.

Now normally you wouldn’t think of anything other than mindless vandalism, but from comments from the Parish priest, at Sunday’s mass, there could well be more sinister ‘forces’ at work.

Now erring on the side of caution and expecting that it was just an example of vandalism, if you should be passing, the church and notice anything suspicious please contact the Police, who none emergency number is 0845 123 3333.
