During this week, only one formal meeting which was the council’s executive, which met on the Tuesday. Amongst the items included on the agenda were community strategy, performance reports, PCT consultation, concessionary fares and the Glossopdale Twin Bin Scheme.
Of note was the discussion on the possible changes to the Primary Care Trusts, where the executive agreed to support the position argued for by most councillors at the last council meeting for Glossopdale to remain where it is, as part of the Tameside and Glossop Primary Care Trust, unlike our colleagues on the county who have decided to support the alternative Derbyshire PCT including Glossop.
